Important Information on 'CTS 2010'

Dear Customer,

We want to bring to your kind attention that RBI has instructed all banks to reject all the instruments (Cheques) which are not compliant to ‘CTS 2010’ (Cheque Truncation System) standard, effective August 2013. RBI Circular dated September 3, 2012

Customers, who have submitted Instruments which are not compliant to ‘CTS 2010’, are requested to visit their bank branch and obtain ‘CTS 2010’ compliant cheques. All post-dated cheques issued by you and due after July 31, 2013 will need to be replaced with fresh cheques that are compliant to ‘CTS 2010’. Failure to do so before July 31, 2013 will lead to dishonor of cheques, will attract cheque dishonor charges and will affect your credit score.

We suggest you to avail the ECS facility for which you have to submit below mentioned set of documents:

• 3 signed ECS Mandate Forms in original
• 1 signed copy of cancelled ‘CTS 2010’ compliant cheque(required for registration);
• 3 Pre EMI/EMI ‘CTS 2010’ compliant cheques (will be used to collect EMI, till ECS gets activated)
• 2 security ‘CTS 2010’ compliant cheques

Copy of the ECS Mandate form & and Cheque Submission Form can be downloaded from our web site. You are requested to fill the ECS Mandate form, get the mandate forms attested from your banker and submit the same, along with cheques attached to Cheque Submission Form with PNB Housing Finance Limited Branch.

All customers who have submitted instruments which are not compliant to CTS-2010, have been informed through Letter, E-mail and SMS from PNB Housing Finance Limited for submission of fresh set of instruments compliant to CTS-2010
