| Responsibility: |
- Work as a production DBA to ensure performance and uptime of production database
Manage database operations planning and projects, and organize and negotiate the allocation of Technical Operations resources
- Develop optimized data models for database structures.
- Design, document, construct and deploy database architectures and applications (e.g. large relational databases)
- Integrate technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability, etc.)
- Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
- Need to design / introduce, develop, and implement processes, systems, and technology to support and enhance the production infrastructure and processes, including work-flow, incident management, monitoring, maintenance, industry standard benchmarking
- Provide regular reports for management that measure the effectiveness of the Production database infrastructure
- Work collaboratively with customer support & development teams to resolve difficult production issues under tight time constraints
- Design, implement, and track processes needed to improve the customer’s experience
- Need to have active involvement at product design phase and take decisions on areas around database layer and strategies.
- Provide RCA and CAPA and track CAP
- Creation and configuration of database server and databases.
- Installation, upgrade and maintenance of database software
- Monitor database for availability and performance optimization
- Experience in backup and recovery
- Having exposure of working on RMAN
- Having good experience of working on Unix environment, preferably Linux.
- Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting techniques
- Shell scripting

| Desired Skills: |
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM and RMAN.
- Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g and 12c
- Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database
- Experience on Cloud application deployment architecture is must.
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Excellent and hands-on experience with database design, documentation and coding
- Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support
- At least 4+ years of experience with Oracle Database as a DBA/Apps DBA/Consultant/Support Engineer. more of production DBA
- Innovate in the database area for product performance and stability improvement.
- Available to work in 24X7 capability open to travel for training/customer visits
- Design & implement database maintenance, backup and capacity planning policies.
- Ensure 100% compliance of production database from these policy standpoints.
