PNB Housing Finance, India's thirdlargest housing finance company, has regained growth momentum with rising disbursements and an expanding retail portfolio. After a strategic consolidation phase marked by a reduction in corporate book, we have shifted focus to building a robust retail franchise. Retail now constitutes an overwhelming majority of our loan asset, with growing emphasis on Prime, Emerging Markets and Affordable segments.
PNB Housing Finance's profitability has strengthened, supported by stable margins, lower credit costs, and a shift towards high-yield segments like Affordable and Emerging Markets segments. While operating expenses have inched up due to expansion, overall returns have improved. Continued focus on high yielding segments while maintain the asset quality will be key to sustain this momentum.
Digitalisation is a key strength for PNB Housing Finance, enabling seamless customer onboarding, faster loan processing, efficient collections, and data-driven decisionmaking, enhancing customer experience, operational agility, and risk management while supporting scalable, technology-led growth across diverse market segments.
